Saturday, May 12th, 2018, is the day for the Annual Pound the Peak run! It is 2.1 miles uphill and a great option for some cardio to stay active and help keep your heart healthy. Below we have summarized some of the most important information when it comes to this run:
VA Momentum hosts the run! They are a social enterprise created by two friends who want to get others active in a fun environment, what sounds better than that?
It is a 2.1-mile team run with two challenge stations during it. Ready for some competition? Make sure you register the best team possible; past stations have included balancing a ping pong ball on two chopsticks from point A to point B or building an origami crane.
May 12th at 9:30 AM. Didn’t register? Not a problem, there is 5k run on May 19th, 2018 at 9:00 AM. While this run is a little different, it is just as challenging and fun. For more info, check out: VA Momentum
Community is a huge part of VA Momentum and their goal is to create something that would better the relationship within the community while also raising money to benefit local non-profits. This run along with the others does just that! Ready. Set. Run and Donate!
